The Olympics start next year and Japan is giving its all in the preparations.
In fact, Iconic video game characters like Mario and Sonic are participating in the Olympics.
You could say that they are participating with Nintendo and Sega characters only.
Of course, we could only dream of seeing them compete with people in the real world.
In any case, let's go and take a look at Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.
Since the video game is about the Olympic Games, Sonic and Mario will definitely have to compete in the same Olympic event.
As we mentioned earlier, Sonic and Mario are going to be competing with characters from Sega and Nintendo.
We don't know how many characters are going to compete in the Olympics, but we hope that it's a lot.
It would definitely be fun to see Mario and Luigi duke it out in a game of boxing.
After all, Sonic and Eggman are competing against each other despite being mortal enemies.
We just hope they don't end up seriously hurting each other since the Olympics is a friendly competition.
We should probably expect several classic Olympic Sport events like the Javelin throw, Basketball, Track and Field, Fencing and more.
We just hope that the gameplay for these Olympic games are quite enjoyable.
However, we do have a feeling that they might end up simplifying the controls in order for it to be enjoyable for everyone.
We don't have any problems with easy controls as long as the games are fun.
Surprisingly, Nintendo and Sega decided to bring a retro mode to the game which gives off some nostalgic vibes.
The retro or 2D mode is definitely our favorite feature and we can't wait to play this game.
We just hope that you can play all the events using the 2D mode.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be released on November 5, 2019.
